Project Spotlight
ICS is a leader in the industry. We do projects right. Get your project headed in the right direction now.
ICS Project: Car Dealership
This project is an example of what a full grind aggregate exposure will look like.
Not only do polished floors have the strength to withstand a number of different vehicles from driving on them, they are resistant to most tire marks and offer a decorative alternative to tile, VCT, and other flooring types that just can't add up to polished concrete.
Big Box Retail: Sam's Club
This project is the perfect example of how ICS has got what it takes to get the job done right, right now.
A competing competitor had called us at the start of this job asking if we would be able to complete it. Without hesitation we assembled our crew and arrived on site.
This project involved grinding and polishing the sales floor, densification, repairs to the joint filler and cracks, and some
cementitious repairs as well. Our foremen collaborated with Superintendents and Project Managers to deliver the right results while
delivering the best quality and service available in the industry.
ICS Project: Grocery Store
Dyes and stains have become increasingly prevalent in the concrete grinding and polishing world. Between LEED/Green nature of concrete polishing and the financial savings of having concrete as a finished floor product, more and more owners and architects are seeking alternatives to a gray slab.
This Grocery Store project was a light
polish (polished cream)
where we dyed the concrete and densified throughout the stages of the polishing process. As you can see from the pictures, the end result is a great slab of free of trip hazards, has a low slip coefficient, and will be more resistant to damage as a result of the sealer.
ICS Project: Frostburg State University
Earlier this year Frostburg State University started a project to renovate one of their buildings on campus. This was an older building and has had many
additions, renovations, and repairs over the years. As you can imagine, the floor in this building was in fairly bad shape.

To make ends meet, we had to do several overlays in this building to even out the floor for various different applications.
First we had our comrade Jim Loveless come out and shot blast the slab for optimum adhesion.
Upstairs we used Euco Super Flo Top to prepare the 2nd floor for a Terrazzo floor coating.
Then we used Euco Concrete Top Supreme on the first floor to get it ready for a decorative grind and stain.

After a little bit of joint filler and some small holes filled with a color matched Metzger McGuire Rapid Refloor,
our experienced crew was able to turn the floor into a piece of art.
